If you are successful in obtaining a position, we will provide you with full-time employment as well as visa sponsorship for you and your dependents to work and live in Australia.

We work with a highly experienced team specialised in supporting international clinicians to relocate to South Australia and can provide you with all relevant information about your sponsorship, working with the practice and the living conditions in Australia to ensure that you are well supported throughout your visa application process.

The applicant must also obtain an AHPRA registration (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) from the Australian Dental Board. Our team can also provide support through this process.

If you are from the UK, Ireland or Canada with a Dental Degree looking for the South Australian lifestyle, sponsorship packages under Australia’s Temporary Business (Long Stay) Visa program (generally referred to as a 457 Visa).

The 457 Visa program is designed for people (and their families) who want to work temporarily in Australia. It may also act as the first step for potential long-term relocation. It allows applicants to work for up to four years for a sponsoring employer and is limited to people seeking employment in skilled occupations.

Please note, whilst the Department of Immigration and Border Protection removed the profession ‘dentist’ from the Skilled Occupation List, on 1 July 2015, this decision does not affect the ability to offer sponsorship under the 457 Visa Program as the profession remains on the Consolidated Skilled Occupation List. This change affects independent visa applications only.

In order to be considered for sponsorship, our clients generally require a minimum three-year employment contract. However, the visa itself is for four years which gives you (and your family) the opportunity to remain in South Australia longer than the contracted period, if both parties agree to extend the contract. If you decide to remain in South Australia long-term you will need to familiarize yourself with the relevant visa options available to you, and apply when eligible.

The 457 Visa sponsorship extends to your spouse or partner who will also be able to work in Australia as well as any children you may have. Please note that Department of Immigration and Border Protection sometimes requests evidence of de-facto relationships prior to approving the visa.

Once selected, our service extends to guiding you through the required paperwork and provide advice on other aspects of the move, including sponsoring your immigration application. The process usually takes three months; which is much quicker than applying for permanent residency whilst in your homeland.
